Photonic microchips produced in the Center of MicroNanoTechnology and used by teams in Tobias Kippenberg's Laboratory of Photonics and Quantum Measurements. They contain optical ‘waveguides’ that direct light at the enormous intensities required to generate new frequencies of laser light.
